Smash Mouth profess their love for Parquet Courts

We called the new Parquet Courts release their “most realized, independent, and articulate album yet.” Apparently, Consequence of Sound aren’t the only ones who think the rock revivalists and Human Performance are all-stars. Cue: Smash Mouth, who recently took to Twitter to profess their undying love for the New York natives and their recent single “Berlin Got Blurry”.

The late ’90s act also went on to describe Parquet Courts as “The Ramones meets Joe Jackson?”, as well heaped praise on the band’s frontman Andrew Savage.
